My water objects – I prefer calling it objects rather than installation –
are based on the principle of reciprocal repulsion of the water and grease.
If it could be called an art, I don't know. It might be rather called a Game.
It is not an ideal set for a gallery because of the inevitable maintenance of
the water (the water evaporates and there is a need to replenish it all the time)
and besides that the objects have more stages of development as every game does.
It couldn't serve as a completed artifact and therefore I do not (except for a few exemptions)
exhibit them. Also some of the objects had a limited longevity – with the continuous playing with
them they have completely changed its form. Does it strike you your kids are playing in the sandpit
a similar way? Then everything is all right.
